Coach Brandon was raised in Northeast Ohio and is a 1992 graduate of Elyria West High School. Brandon, while at Elyria West helped lead the baseball team to the first ever State Championship in Lorain County. He was also named conference player of the year in 1992. After high school, Brandon played two years of college ball at Cuyahoga Community College. He then turned his attention to education and earned a B.A. degree in Sports Management from Bowling Green State University. After time away from the game he turned his eyes on a new adventure of girls fast-pitch softball. Coach Brandon coached at Magificat from 2003-2012 and then Lakewood High School for 2 years

Coach Jeffrey Roach
Coach Paul Moviel was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and was a 2001 graduate from Berea High School. At Berea High, Paul was an 11 year varsity letterman in football, basketball, and baseball. After turning down going pro out of high school for baseball, Paul went to play baseball in Chicago, IL at Kishwaukee College. Paul played and started his first two years as a pitcher and first baseman for the Cougars. After his sophomore year Paul had been drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 2003 Major League draft and decided to leave school and pursue his pro career. Paul went on to play 4 years with the White Sox and was noted after coming back from Tommy John surgery as one of the top prospects in the White Sox organization his last two years. Paul was in big league camp his last two years with the White Sox, then was traded to Tampa Bay in the winter of 2006. Paul competed in big league camp with the Rays in 2007, but then was put on the DL for an injury and decided to end his career after that season. In 2008 Paul got hired by the United States Secret Service and served on the Presidential Protection Detail with President Obama until May of 2013. When Paul was in Washington, DC he had the opportunity to coach varsity baseball at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA with his brother Greg for 3 years. Greg Moviel and Scott Moviel, which are Paul's two younger brothers both played pro baseball as well. Greg Moviel played with the Seattle Mariners as a pitcher, and his youngest brother Scott Moviel was a second round draft pick out of high school by the New York Mets. Paul is currently the Director for Tenable Protective Services.
Coach Rob is a graduate of Cleveland Heights High School. Robert is also a graduate and former 4 year starting collegiate athlete at Seton Hill University, a Division 2 college in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Coach Rob is certified in fitness training through (ISSA) International Sports Science Association and after graduating college in 2012 has coached and trained at the middle school and high school level for 3 years. Robert is extremely excited to share his knowledge and be able to give back and teach the students athletes in the Cleveland community.

Ohio Pitbulls Baseball welcomes Steven Ward to the coaching staff. Steven played 3 years for Chardon High School before going to Lakeland Community College. After college he returned to the Hilltoppers to coach. Steven has been an assistant/pitching coach for the Chardon Hilltoppers for the past 4 years. He has also spent 7 years as an umpire. Coach Ward will be coaching on our 18U team.
Ohio Pitbulls Baseball is happy to add Coach Peter Russo to the coaching staff. Coach Peter is a graduate of St. Ignatius High School. After high school Peter attended Cleveland State University where he played outfield and pitched for the CSU Viking Club Team. He also served as Club Secretary and Coach while he was there. After college he turned his focus to coaching where he coached as Assistant Coach/Pitching Coach for the Richmond Hts High School Varsity Baseball Team. Peter has also coached for the City of Middleburg Hts. Coach Russo will be coaching our 14U team.

Ohio Pitbulls Baseball welcomes Coach Jeffrey Roach to the program. Coach Jeffrey played 4 years at Streetsboro High School as a pitcher/outfielder before gaining a scholarship to play at Hiram College. He also pitched and played outfield for the Hiram Terriers before turning his sights to the United States Marine Corp. In 2013 Jeffrey joined the North County San Diego MSBL/MABL where he was scouted by the Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago White Sox. He also worked at Spring Training Baseball in Temecula, California. There he helped develop the skills of youth athletes. In 2015 Jeffrey moved back to the Cleveland area and currently plays in the Cleveland MSBL/MABL. Coach Roach will be coaching our 15U team.

Coach Shannon Conway
Ohio Pitbulls Baseball welcomes Coach Shannon Conway to the coaching staff. Coach Conway recently graduated from The Ohio State University at Lima where he played baseball for the Barons for 4 years. He graduated OSU with a degree in Education in Youth Studies. Coach Conway also played for Bedford High School and made the Lake Erie All-Conference team throughout his high school playing career. He is currently the Commisioner of Baseball for the City of Bedford. Coach Conway will be coaching our 16U Ohio Prospects League team.
